The desert is known for being HOT in the summer, so we wanted to make the backyard a sanctuary and of course… ADD A POOL! We are so thrilled with how this turned out!
We turfed the whole backyard and side yard as well!

Here are all of the links I could round up for everything we purchased:

Pool Company – Aqua Terra Pools
Pool Tile – $0.96 / piece – I searched high and low for beautiful black and white geometric tile. Some ranging from $20/piece. These ones were the winner for us! Can’t beat the price!
Pool Umbrella – $112 – I loved the fringe on this, it is such a vibe! The yellow added a pop of color, and tied in the yellow pillows in the living room.
Pool Baja Shelf Chairs – $499 each – These bad boys are not cheap! This was the best price we found, but they are so worth it!
8×10 Outdoor Rug – $69.99 – LOVE this rug! It is the type of plasticy material that does not get dirty! Perfect when there is white in the pattern.
Outdoor Sectional Cushions – $124 per cushion & cover – We ordered 5 of these, and one corner piece in black. They come in 12 other colors too!
Corner Cushion – $139.62 – This is for the corner seat, as it needs 2 back cushions instead of one 🙂
Outdoor Fan – $119 – This is actually not technically an “outdoor” fan. But they told us that since our patio is completely covered, it is fine.

Outdoor Plants:
Japanese Blueberry Trees
We decided to go with these trees because honestly the guy at the nursery convinced us lol. The common tree to make a privacy wall of tress, are Ficus… however, they have really destructive root systems and could eventually lead to big problems.
Plus he said these are the boogie trees that high end houses and hotels use, and I was sold haha.
Strelitzia nicolai (White Bird Of Paradise)
I do not like the “flower” of the bird of paradise’s. But I love the leaves and you can trim the flowers off. These varieties have larger banana type looking leaves, and are extremely easy to keep alive — hallelujah and amen!
